20 November, Meeting in Ministry of Education and Science

On November 20 the Health-Tech project meeting was held in Ministry of Education and Science. The Supervisory Board on the governmental level was formed in order to provide consultations and coordinate Health-Tech project implementation. During the meeting Health-tech Project Management Group presented the progress and the challenges ahead. Each Thematic Group Coordinator presented TG’s developed Long Term Research and Innovation Strategy (LTRIS). Four LTRIS were presented: 1TG - Mechanisms for age-related diseases LTRIS; 2TG – Biomarkers for age-related diseases LTRIS; 3TG – Diagnostic and monitoring for age-related diseases LTRIS; 4TG – Regenerative technologies for age-related diseases LTRIS. Project partner from Finland, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland LTD, made presentation about global good practice in management of the Centre of Excellence. The work plan for the second period of the project implementation was presented as well.
